The Q106 Homegrown Throwdown Battle Rages On for Odds Fish!

Odds Fish had a GREAT time in Week 3 of the Q106 Homegrown Throwdown and even placed 2nd, but it’s not over yet…

On January 27, 2017, Odds Fish ROCKED Week 3 of the Q106 Homegrown Throwdown at The Loft in Lansing, Michigan. We sold lots of tickets, we had good attendance by our fans, we played a hot set that included “Unofficial Channels,” “The Shaving,” our required cover song “Rock of Ages,” “Our Time,” and “Cactus Men,” we connected with the audience, and we got incredible feedback from the judges! We even scored 2nd (with our friends Sinhaven taking the top spot) and got to have our picture taken with Span from Q106! So we had a GREAT time! But the work is not quite over for us…

 Because Odds Fish placed 2nd in our round of the Homegrown Throwdown, and not 1st, we now have to compete for a wildcard slot (of which there are 2) for the Finals. The wildcard slots are determined by an online poll on Facebook. To vote, all you have to do is:

  1. Go to the poll on Facebook: http://bit.ly/2ksDTCc
  2. Make sure you are logged in to Facebook.
  3. Vote for the band you want to see in the Finals by clicking on the circle next to their band name (Hopefully, you would be voting for Odds Fish… just sayin’…)
  4. Share it if you want your friends and family to vote too!

And that’s it! So if our amazing fans can spare a few seconds to vote, we would GREATLY appreciate it! We know we are NOTHING without you, and if we get into the Q106 Homegrown Throwdown Finals, we will KNOW it was because of YOU – our fantastically groovy fanbase – because you ROCK!!!

    1. Thank you so much! We hope to be there! haha There will be so many great bands there! (There was so much talent in the Throwdown in general this year.) Plus, we love to rock out with other music lovin’ people, like yourself, who will most likely come out in large numbers that night, so we would definitely love to play and meet some new potential fans. But, we shall see… Thanks again for the support and ecouragement!
